SIX years today!
Today I am celebrating my SIX year soberversary!! Thank you so much to SMART, St. Gregory's Retreat Center, mindfulness meditation, yoga, and determination for getting me here!
My signature line pretty much sums it up - I'm not telling you it's going to be easy, but it's definitely worth it. I can't even tell you how much better my life is today. So if you are still struggling, keep at it.

Congratulation Mel. I've just recently quit again and have no idea why I even thought it was a good idea to start again. You're absolutely correct, its not easy, but it is so worth it. Life is good!!!!!!!!

Huge shout out and a nice, simple testimony to sobriety. I am on Day 48... with one relapse. One night; 4 vodkas. My sponsor said I get to still build on the success I did have and instead of beating myself up (which I am very apt to do) let success beget success. I am also okay calling it day 6, with 41 days of sobriety on my first attempt. It's not needed and not even appreciated. A good reminder of how exciting and free sobriety is. CONGRATS Mel, thanks for the story! I will get there. And now I'm even more assured.

That's awesome!!! My sixth is September 25---feels great to be not only chemically sober but mentally as well (and there is a huge difference)
