    Default 6 Years!

    Today I celebrate 6 years!
    As the days and months and years have passed I have become the person I was always meant to be.

    Smart F to F and SROL have been a huge part of my success.I have not only learned not to drink I have learned so much more about myself!

    Out of hopelessness has come hope and happiness and for that I am forever grateful.
    Life is good!

    Congrats on your 6 years, well done. I just celebrated my own 5 year anniversary on Dec. 8th, who knew life could be this good.

    Huge congrats on 6 years! I will hit 3 years tomorrow and totally agree with James that I never knew life could be this good.

    What got me sober was TRYING to get sober. Often when I lapsed, picked up, drank, I FELT thoroughly beaten. I thought at that time "there is no hope for me" Yet, when I had recovered from that thought just a little, I thought "I'll have another GO!" It was a few little sparks, rather than a flame, that got me here!

    Congratulations on 6 years of sobriety. I'm happy for you but not surprised. I read your goodbye letter a few years ago and it was evident to me that you were looking at everything with a very clear mind. You had made a choice to stay sober and now, it is six years for you. Wtg.
