Milestone!!!!!

After a doctor blindly prescribed me Ambien, and Lorazepam in 2006 for sleep that led me down a road of interdose withdrawals, and addiction. Today, I am celebrating 1 year off a year long medically assisted taper, without any slips or relapses!!!!! Making the decision to free myself from 15 years of benzo hell was the hardest thing I've done in my life, but worth it. I am grateful to SMART, and REBT for giving me the tools, and skill set to accomplish my goal. I'm still dealing with protractive withdrawls that come from benzo use, but the windows of healing are becoming more, and more frequent! *Problems don't go away with success. You just get better at solving them! Mahalo!!!!
